Vantage Digital Labs ("we," "our," or "us") operates the AestheticQR mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

A. Camera Data

AestheticQR requires access to your device's camera to perform real-time QR code scanning.

• Local Processing: Images captured by the camera are processed strictly on your device using the Google ML Kit SDK.

• No Storage or Transmission: No images or videos are ever saved to your device's storage or transmitted to our servers or any third parties.

B. Usage Data and History

• Scanning History: Content extracted from QR codes is stored locally in a private Room Database on your device. This data is not accessible to other apps and is never sent to our servers.

• User Preferences: Your premium status and app settings are stored locally using Jetpack DataStore.

2. Third-Party Service Providers

We employ third-party companies to facilitate our Service and analyze how our Service is used. These third parties have access to specific data only to perform these tasks on our behalf.

• Google Play Billing: Handles all premium feature purchases. We do not collect or store your financial or credit card information; this is managed entirely by Google Play.

• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements to non-premium users. AdMob may collect and use your Advertising ID (AD_ID) and device information to provide personalized ads.

• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: We use these tools to monitor app stability and understand usage patterns. This data is anonymized and used strictly for technical improvement.

3. Permissions

The app requests the following permissions for functional purposes:

• android.permission.CAMERA: To scan QR codes.

• android.permission.INTERNET: To process payments and load advertisements.

• android.permission.VIBRATE: To provide haptic feedback upon successful actions.

4. Data Security

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your local data.
